we are affiliated.

Sports
Tours
The
school, organised by the sports department, arranges
tours of this country and other countries so that students
can participate in other sports tournaments. In this
way, students will have the opportunity of taking part
in enriching experiences with groups of students from
other schools and areas.

|
Camping trips
Camping
trips are organised so that students may enjoy and experience
nature and build up team spirit through bonfires, songs
and games. These camping trips vary in place and duration
according to the age group of the students.

Sports
day/Week
Each
year in September or October, the sports department organises
the sports day or week, depending on the time allocated
to this event.
The event takes place at the sports field and both students
and parents participate.
Each year the sports week invites students to participate
in competitions organised in the different sports practised
at school. All students belong to a team, (at San Joaquin's
the teams are defined by colours) and at the end of the
event, the winning team is presented with a prize. Parents
also take part in this event as an integration activity. |
|
Other Activities
Open
classes, meetings with parents and students, and talks
about sports and health, drug prevention and sex education
are also organised.

Cultural expansion and organised journeys.
The
experience of travelling with a group of peers is an
integral experience.
Students become more independent and become aware of
what constitutes a group experience whilst at the same
time confronting panoramas that are as incredible as
that of the Iguazu waterfalls.
As
part of the international exchange programme with countries
such as Brazil and the United States of America, students
deal with the perfection of the language together with
the experience of living with other teenagers whose
customs and traditions are different from ones own.
For teenagers these experiences and opportunities cannot
be missed.
